Bühler Japan offers equipment and services for grain processing, food manufacture and advanced materials. We set up our offices in Japan in 1974.

Our main office is in Shin-yokohama, but we also maintain seven branches nationwide, in Hokkaido, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, Okayama, Fukuoka, and Kagoshima, including two workshops for roll services and die refurbishment. We also have a testing facility for wet grinding and dispersion processing, where you can try out new products and techniques.

We are currently expanding our regional network of trained engineers. We understand local needs and can reach you promptly to maximize uptime at your plant.

Wheat flour milling

We maintain a strong presence in the flour milling industry in Japan. Our milling equipment is installed in most milling plants there. We strive to build a long-term relationship with all of our customers.

Superb quality chocolate

We are a key partner for the chocolate industry in Japan. Our DoMiReCo process technology and know-how are used to produce high-quality chocolate at many confectionery companies there.

Mechanical ship unloader

The Portalink ship unloader is designed for the reliable and efficient unloading of bulk materials. It is installed at Kushiro Port in Hokkaido, one of the ports designated as an "International Strategic Bulk Port Project".

Supporting you throughout the lifetime of your products

We have two workshops at Saitama and Kagoshima which regrind and flute rolls and refurbish pellet mill dies. Saitama houses our RADEC facility - a lab where you can work with our experts to test and develop applications in wet grinding technology.
